INSERTA® IBF 2- way ball valves and IFRA retaining adapters may be effectively used together to make compact, captive ball valve assemblies. Ball valves mounted in this manner on flange ports of pumps, manifolds, or actuators can have the downstream flange connection broken, while maintaining the functional integrity of the ball valve itself.

Standard IBFs and IFRAs are unplated steel. EN plating option is available and are typically in stock in moderate quantities. Fasteners coated for up to 1000 hour salt spray resistance are available for use with EN plated items.
